Hi, I’m Elsa!
I am the founder and owner of LaLo Coffee. Inspired by the Ethiopian word “Lalo,” meaning “ours,” I view coffee as a means to foster unity, community, and connection.
I founded LaLo Coffee to share the richness of Ethiopian coffee culture while supporting a mission close to my heart: Loving and Leading Others, a nonprofit supporting women and children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia .
I hope you enjoy my home roasted beans! Please get in touch if you have any questions about the product or the organization.

Incredible Coffee
I’ve never had coffee quite like this before – very smooth, basically no bitterness, and super flavorful. It’s a real treat and I’m a fan. Thanks Elsa!
Great coffee
I tried the Guji natural, very sweet, fruit forward, and balanced.
The best coffee
I keep this coffee for guests. Everyone I introduced this coffee to, love it. Once you try it you will want more.
Our Mission
LaLo Coffee is proud to be partnered with Loving and Leading Others, a non-profit organization supporting struggling families in Ethiopia. Their mission is to empower and educate women and children so that they can gain permanent employment.
Born out of personal experience, Loving and Leading Others (L&LO) saw the need to restore identity and create opportunities for women, especially women living under the shadow of death. By using biblical and leadership principles, we focus on loving others and teaching social identity: given, chosen, and core values. When people know they are unconditionally loved and significant, that is the beginning of authentic transformation – self-image changes, character develops, compassion for others emerges, and opportunity arises.
